Chester Sub Aqua Club are running a “mini- Menai Run” on Sunday 27th March and have invited us to join them. <\/p>\n
The plan is to launch at Felinheli from 9:15 am and to set off around 10:15am. High water is 07:01am, so we are launching mid-tide and plan to go around Puffin Island before mooring at Beaumaris for fish and chips, will then visit the lifeboat station to present a cheque. If they are not on a shout, the Beaumaris lifeboat will lead the way back to Felinheli.<\/p>\n
We can go beyond Felinheli, but will not be going to Caernarfon because of the sandbanks. Low water Beaumaris is 14:07, so we will be recovering around 3 \/ 3:30pm.<\/p>\n
The trip will be \u00a325 per person. A \u00a310 deposit will secure your place and the balance will be required one week before.<\/p>\n
There is a sign-up sheet at the Club. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, but priority will be given to those who can tow and cox the second boat, plus a couple of experienced boat handlers or coxes to assist. <\/p>\n
