The dive location was to be Porth Diana, off Ravenspoint&#8217;s Road in Holyhead. As we had decided to do both dives at the same site, it was get kit out of vehicles, park them up and get ready to buddy up, check, and enjoy.<\/p><p>The first set of six divers went in and had deeper water to fin off in. Shore cover monitored their progress with bated breath. Only one member had previously dived the site and this was some time ago, so was it going to be a success?? A tense period passed. Phew!!! Out they came, grinning and chatting to each other, having seen lots of life; lobsters, spider crabs, fish large and small, sand eels, and more. The area looked healthy and was vibrant with anemones, coral, and seaweed.<\/p><p>The second wave of divers went in on an ebbing tide so a little more care was required and a little more kelp navigation necessary before they also could enjoy sightings of quite a number of nudibranchs, scorpion fish, spider crabs, lobsters, and plenty more other amazing marine life.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-1347830\" data-id=\"1347830\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-62331f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"62331f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"339\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ecsac.org.uk\/updates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Porth-Diana.jpg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-11342\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ecsac.org.uk\/updates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Porth-Diana.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.ecsac.org.uk\/updates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Porth-Diana-300x170.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2734aa8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2734aa8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A well-deserved rest, lunch, and wait for the tide to turn and off we went again for a second dive, but with a flooding tide to make entry easier. Extra sightings this time were a cat shark, and more amazingly coloured\/marked fish. Just to observe such vibrant life was fantastic.<\/p><p>Then as we all know, the day was swiftly over and it was time to de-kit, pack up and decamp to the pub for a bevy and a chat before making the drive back to Cheshire on a beautiful summer&#8217;s evening.<\/p><p class=\"last-child\"><strong>&#8211;
