Fifteen intrepid ECSAC divers ventured out on a beautifully sunny Bank Holiday weekend to dive around Anglesey with the objective of diving some of the less dived wrecks. \u00a0Sadly\u00a0we found out why they are less dived as the wind picked up to Force 4\/5 (occasionally 6) and we were unable to get far enough offshore to dive them.<\/p>\n

As it was, we settled for some very nice little inshore dives around Dulas, Red Wharf Bay and Puffin Island and managed to find plenty of crabs, nudibranchs and even a few seals and an Octopus.<\/p>\n

We also got to dive in some of the interesting sea caves around Puffin Island.<\/p>\n

The dives were interesting, packed full of life and as we were shallow they were very bright, visibility getting up to 5 meters in places. There was lots to see and we had some fun in the three boats we took, with Top Cat looking very impressive and Cheshire Cat running really well after Phil and Simon did a great job on the engines in the clubhouse the week before the trip,<\/p>\n
