We ran a gas blender course to run through how to use our booster pump and O2 and He bank as well as covering the BSAC SDC for Nitrox and Mixed Gas Blender on 26th November.  You will receive a copy of the SDC Course Pack and a qualification card upon completion of the course.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Want to be able to mix diving gas (nitrogen, oxygen and helium)?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This one-day course provides training in mixing Nitrox (or also helium mixes too). Both courses covers theory, complimented by practice to test skills learned in aspects of mixing gas. Successful candidates will be confident to mix gas to within safe diving tolerances for either Nitrox or also gases using helium.<\/p>\n

Entry requirement  
\n<\/strong>This course is open to BSAC Ocean Divers or acceptable alternative and minimum age of 18.<\/p>\n

What you\u2019ll learn
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Nitrox blending (theory and practical)
\n\u2022 Safety precautions
\n\u2022 Practical gas mixing
\nOn the Mixed Gas version of the course there will be the added considerations of blending mixes using helium in diving gas.<\/p>\n

Learning materials
\n<\/strong>Your course pack includes all the learning materials you need for the course. The pack includes the Mixed Gas Blender \/ Nitrox Gas Blender course manual and a Qualification Card application. Calculation tables can be downloaded (to ensure latest version) to allow gas mixing with variables which are typically encountered.<\/p>\n

The cost of the course is in the region of \u00a340 plus the cost of the gas used.<\/p>\n
