Diving safety, decompression illness and basic management of a patient\u00a0suffering from Decompression Illness (DCI). You will be briefed on the safety aspects of the\u00a0Recompression Chamber and introduced to the chamber environment where you can, under close\u00a0observation, observe the effects of nitrogen narcosis.<br \/>\n<strong>Qualifications and fitness\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The minimum number of persons for a dry dive is 10. You must possess a self-certification and be\u00a0able to provide evidence on the day that you are medically fit to dive. We also require proof of a\u00a0diver qualification. Note that non divers will not be allowed in the chamber. Age minimum is 16 and\u00a0the facility is available at weekends only.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecsac.org.uk\/?attachment_id=643\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-643\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-643\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ecsac.org.uk\/updates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/DSC_2150-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_2150\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>The cost is \u00a335.00 which includes the presentation and tour of the facility and the dry dive to 40m.\u00a0You can bring your dive computers along and your log books can be stamped with the centres logo. \u00a0These guys do fantastic job and give a great insight into the hyperbaric medicine world.
