Awards Evening - 4th February 2023
The Awards Evening was held on Saturday at the Clubhouse and was a great success.
On arrival, welcome drinks & canapes were served by Karen, assisted by Jon & Gill P, Kev & Julie. An excellent 3 course meal was prepared by Janice & her sister and was served to the tables by a well-organised team of servers; Maxine, Hannah R, Paul & Pam. The bar was seamlessly staffed throughout the evening by Tim, Clemmie, Rosy, Sue & Ken. Thanks to all of you. We missed Clive who was sadly full of a cold!
Awards for 2022 were presented to :
Hannah Rennie – Ocean Diver of the Year
Steve Marriott – Diver of the Year
Tim Porter – Club Member of the Year
Nominees for Club Member of the Year were : Andy, Alison, Clemmie, Clive, Dave L, Helen, Janice, Loz, Rosy & Tim.
Diver Grade certificates were presented to :
Ocean Divers: Paula Lynch, Adam Lund, Nathan Jones & Hannah Rennie
Dive Leader : Alison Brammer & Jo Watson
We then drew the raffle which included some fabulous prizes donated by our friends at Aqualogistics and Peli Products, as well as an action camera, Experience voucher, wines, beers & many more. And then we enjoyed a disco provided by DJ Tim Lane.
Thanks to all those Club members who attended, who bought raffle tickets and who helped out on the night. And a huge thanks to Janice & the team for providing such a wonderful meal to a packed Clubhouse.
