Bali Tropical Dive Trip : 28th October - 8th November 2023

Bali is tropical and pleasant all year round, with the temperature in November averaging 28°C. There is the occasional rain shower, and the evenings are a few degrees cooler (25°C). Our trip is timed for the mola-mola season whilst avoiding the peak tourist holiday periods.

Amed, our destination in Bali, offers many different experiences: beautiful coral gardens, gentle drift dives, impressive muck diving sites, and coral-encrusted shipwrecks. It is at the southern edge of the Coral Triangle marine conservation area, which stretches from the Philippines to the Solomon Islands. Although covering only 1.6% of the world’s oceans, this area is recognised by the WWF as the world’s centre of marine diversity, hosting over 76% of all coral species, over 3,000 species of fish, six out of seven turtle species, and the highest diversity of coral reef fishes in the world.

The trip will consist of five days diving with two dives a day. There will be an option of a sunrise or sunset dive if conditions permit, and enough people are interested.

The diving is shore diving with all sites accessible by surface swimming. A good level of fitness is strongly advised. There will be one boat dive: NUSA Penida.

Minimum Qualification: Sports Diver
