Lundy, North Devon : 21st - 23rd June 2024
Lying in the Bristol channel, Lundy is a top spot in the UK to dive. It even featured on the recent BBC series about the UK and the waters around it.
We will be diving with the team at Obsession Charters (LundyDiving.co,uk who supported the BBC in programme) who have been running diving at Lundy for years and know the waters well. The diving will be a mix of scenic/wildlife dives and wrecks down to 30m.
Boat: Obsession Charters – 12 divers, £1080/day, so 2 days diving per person is £180.
Accommodation: Ocean Backpackers self-catering in Ilfracombe (https://oceanbackpackers.co.uk/) approx. £30/night. We have 2 dorms reserved
Qualification: Minimum qualification required is an Advanced Ocean Diver with logged sea dives and confident use of releasing a DSMB. The skipper will choose the sites based on the tides but the area does have very strong tides.
Costs: Overall Diving £180 + Accom. £60 = £240 + food (TBC)
Deposit: £35 payable on booking.
