Anglesey Boat Diving : 20th - 21st April 2024
Selecting a launch site according to prevailing weather conditions and the experience level of trip participants, the plan is to conduct two days of RIB diving in Anglesey. The weekend has been selected as it is just off neaps, which means the tidal range will be fairly low, reducing the strength of tidal streams in the area. This provides favourable conditions for those divers with less sea experience.
Minimum Qualification: Ocean Diver*
NOTE: We can accommodate two Ocean Divers with the current trip participants. If you are a third Ocean Diver signing up, please check we have enough experienced divers to accommodate you.
We have accommodation on the Friday and Saturday evening at the Junior Mountaineering Club of Scotland’s bunkhouse in Bethesda
Approximate Trip Costs: £60-70ish for two days excluding travel, food, and own expenses. A £24 deposit will secure your place.
Inc. Accommodation: £24 for two nights, BYO sleeping bag, pillow, and towel.
Inc. Diving: £40-50ish for two days. Final costs confirmed post-trip based on fuel, launch fees, and towing costs, then split equally.
Meet in Bethesda Friday evening. You will be responsible for your own meal arrangements Friday. Diving Saturday and Sunday. We will make a group booking for a pub meal or get a group takeaway on the Saturday night. Return to Cheshire after the conclusion of diving Sunday.
