Eyemouth Dive Weekend: 28th-29th June 2025
Ken & Rosy have booked a weekend of diving from Eyemouth (Scottish Borders) with Aquamarine Charters. Eyemouth is located on the south east coast of Scotland, where high cliffs plunge in to the sea. The submarine cliffs are covered with life: soft corals, nudibranches, bryozoans and many hydroids. The coast offers some of the best diving in the UK!
Diving will be on the marine reserves and wrecks from dive boat, MV Oceanic, with skipper Derek Anderson. www.aquamarine-charters.com
Qualification: You need to be an experienced Sports Diver with depth progression to a minimum of 35m and competent at DSMB deployment.
Accomodation: Eyemouth Caravan Park – self catering. There is some flexibility with staying over to the Monday 30 June if you want to extend your holiday.
Costs:
Diving : Estimated as £120 for 2 days diving (based on 12 divers).
Accommodation : £51.50 for 2 nights (based on 12 people)
Air fills: £8 per cylinder. You will need 2 tanks for each day and fills are available a 2 minute drive from the marina so you will be responsible for ensuring you get them filled.
Car parking: Harbour Road parking is £4 per day near to the marina, we will be able to unload by the boat and then we could park our cars further away for free.
