The 65th Annual Awards evening was held at Macclesfield Golf Club on Saturday 31st January, 2026.

Following a ‘remote’ welcome from our Chairman, who was unable to be with us on Saturday, we were entertained by some wonderful singing from Eliza, an ex-snorkel member of the Club, whilst we enjoyed a fabulous hot and cold buffet followed by desserts. We then played music tracks, compiled by Anna, and enjoyed a very relaxed evening which allowed people to chat and catch up. 

The 2025 Awards were presented by the Diving Officer, Clive Byrne, and Training Officer, Ken Burrows:

• Ocean Diver of the Year: Lois 

• Diver of the Year: Phil 

• Club Member of the Year: Alison 

Certificates were also presented to all Club Member of the Year nominees who have worked so hard to support the Club and it’s members in many different ways through 2025:

• Club Member of the Year Nominees: Loz, Rosy, Doug, Phil, Ken and Janice.
