Once again to start the new season and to have a day’s fun in our much loved boats ECSAC organised a non diving boating day on the Menai Straits. The date for 2016’s trip was Sunday March 13th. We travelled the length of this beautiful stretch of water which is steeped in history as well as being an interesting area to navigate.
Simple instruction in navigation was given to those interested. We had the obligatory stop for a fish and chip lunch in Beaumaris 
and of course ice creams by Caernarfon Castle to end the day. This castle is both stunning and historically very significant and to approach it from the sea is an experience not to be missed.
