Andy McArthur ran a trip up to the Lake District (near Ambleside) to Hodge Close on the Wednesday between Xmas and New Year.
Hodge Close is a challenging site to dive with a long wade through a flooded tunnel, a shimmy down a set of slippery ladders with your kit and then a dive in a cold quarry and into a set of tunnels to three chambers. Between the team we managed to visit all of the chambers and the sump as well. A great day was had by all and we managed to share turkey buns, mince pies and carrot cake.
