Menai Run 2018 – East Cheshire Sub-Aqua Club

This page is still being updated but here are some of the photos and the video that I have been sent so far.

We had a fantastic weekend on the Menai Straits, with diving and a walk on the Saturday, a BBQ on Saturday night and the main Menai RIB Run on Sunday we had a very busy time. This was the culmination of months of planning and with the assistance of many of our members providing lots of help on the day, huge thanks to our helpers for towing boats, assisting with the setup and tidying of the BBQ, boat, car park, slipway, traffic and passenger marshals.. A real team effort! Particular thanks go to Paul, Julie, Jon Parton & Gill, Dave M, Andy M, Simon, Tim, Clive and Janice. (Thanks also to Phil Frost and Peli UK for the loan of the Peli Lighting we used at the BBQ and to Joe Adshead for the loan of the BBQ gear, both of which were brilliant). We must also thank Paul at Dinas Boatyard for his support, Port Dinorwic Sailing Club for the use of their car park and Conway Land Rover for supplying the free bacon butties and drinks in the morning as well as their additional donation to the RNLI which helped push our total raised on the day to over £1600.
